Mascioni Hotel Collection eCommerce
June 1st, 2008The eCommerce website for the brand Mascioni Hotel Collection, by Mascioni SpA. It features few dynamic databases for organizing and managing items and products, by categories and attributes like color, size, etc. It has a reserved access, since it dedicates to the private customers of Mascioni SpA, a search engine and a system to order and check out the items listed in the wish list. It’s coded in actionscript with a mySQL database engine.
Mascioni for The Plaza in New York
March 1st, 2008Mascioni produces and prints valuable and sophisticated fabrics, for some of the most exclusive hotel and spa in the World. This card was made to celebrate the highest quality level at the Plaza in New York City, thanks to Mascioni. the images presented are the result of post-production, since I could not photograph the object in person (New York that time was too far). But in this way it is possible to have an idea very close to the original design of the card, as it has been thought.

February 1st, 2008The company basically had no manual or guide for its collection of logos. So, even if I had not designed the first version of logos myself, I was asked to rebuild or improve them, seldom from a simple image to a more practical vectorial file, setting precisely the colors used in solid, compose and black & white printing. Even correct the rendering at smallest sizes.
CCube, Christmas 2007 Card
December 1st, 2007CCube / Comunicazione al Cubo is an event and communication agency in Milan, which have among their clients big ones like Fiera Milano. At the end of the year 2007 they decided to make a donation, for each of their clients, to a charitable organization (a no profit one). The Card invites who receives it, to draw a house in the blank space that appears after have lifted the instruction post-it. Then, the “artist” is invited to post back to CCube the card, filling up the details about the author and accepting that all the masterpieces will be used for an ADV of the organization during the next year. We actually reveived quite a lot of beautiful draws. It’s amazing to observe, everytime, how given a banal task like “draw a simple house” people find innumerable way to accomplish it.

June 1st, 2007CCube / Comunicazione al Cubo is an event and communication agency in Milan, which have among their clients big ones like Fiera Milano. To congratulate their client, the agency organized a party, celebrating the incoming Summer. The Event Card is printed on a glossy paper, glued on the both side of a very thick cardboard. The result is a concrete object, that pleases the feeling of who handles it. For the event I’ve realized also a showreel in motion, animated with a Flash engine.

The website is coded in Actionscript 2.0, as available in that year, and features two main sections: White for Decoration, and Black for Design, since the work of Paola is composed by both the fields.

December 1st, 2006CCube / Comunicazione al Cubo is an event and communication agency in Milan, which have among their clients big ones like Fiera Milano. At the end of the year 2006, we designed their Christmas Card as a mounting kit which resulted in a December Calendar. 24 papers, one for each day from the 1st of the month, till the day of Advent Christmas, with the instruction about how to cut and fold, and finally build the paperwork. The kit featured even a white cotton thread to hang it. All the graphic made in Illustrator. Printed in solid red and black.

Fater SpA brochure
December 2nd, 2004Fater S.p.A. manufactures, in Italy, basically the most of the products among tissues and other daily used papers. In 2004 Fater needed to promote their brand among the most influental people and business men of that time. We were requested to produce their new official brochure. The result was a brilliant paperwork, printed in 5 colors, embossed logo on the cover.
Aspesi featured Robert Frank
September 1st, 2004Commissioned by Aspesi iself, the book is a perfect remake of, at the time no longer in print, cataloq featuring some of the most famous portraits by Robert Frank. Since the original printing plates had been lost, we had to rebuild the book as a skillfull forger would have done. It was fun.
